The bands old spiritual home has lost its soul...
« Thread Started on Oct 9, 2006, 9:14am »

Thanks to our manager Ant, Su and I into the Full Moon Opening Party at the last minute when he'd phoned to ask what was going on this weekend. With the benefit of access to the singularly limited guest list, we took a look around at what they'd done to the place. The best gig venue for it's size in Bristol. Someone should've probably shot the decorator. There's a great deal of white paint and neon lights. The good news is that the bar in the Full Moon survived and they got rid of the plasterboard on the pillar and opened up the stage by removing the railings.

As to alternative/goth/metallers being acceptable in there. I heard at least 3 times from as many sources that they were not looking to put any metal or Goth gigs on for the first 6 months to allow the ground to settle and get in the clientel they want.

51-02 were most entertained.

I had a feeling it would end up like this. What did we expect really? When Money gets put into places they do loose their soul.

I think we got what we expected but I also think we all hoped that it wouldn't happen.
